The THS Funding Model
  • The Streetcar Operation is funded by several sources:
  •  An endowment fund (currently $5 M)
  •  Farebox recovery
  •  A corridor specific assessment district (downtown, Channelside, Ybor City)
  • NO CITY OF TAMPA GENERAL TAX REVENUES GO TO THE STREETCAR
  • HART IS PAID TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM
