In fact, fans have two easy ways to travel to the Tampa Bay Lightning Victory Parade: 1. The TECO Line Streetcar System During the playoffs, thousands of fans made the Streetcar System their choice of transportation. And during the victory parade, thousands more will hop onboard to avoid getting stuck in traffic. The Streetcar System runs from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and travels between parking garages in Ybor and the parade route. For just $3.00, adults can get a 1-Day Unlimited Ride Card. Discount fare for youth, seniors and people with disabilities is $1.50. 2. The Uptown↕Downtown Connector (Route 96) Affectionately known as the yellow rubber-tire trolley, the Uptown↕Downtown Connector travels between many parking venues in downtown Tampa and the parade route. (Though the route will be detoured a bit to accommodate the parade, it will still get patrons within walking distance of the celebration.) Hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Best of all its FREE. Route Maps for both the TECO Line Streetcar System and the Uptown↕Downtown Connector are attached. Parking information is available at www.tampasdowntown.com/transpo.htm. **Due to street closures, please be aware that many HART bus routes serving downtown Tampa, including Route 96 and the Hooters Express, will be temporarily detoured.
