HART INVITES PUBLIC COMMENT ON THE
TAMPA RAIL PROJECT

Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 19th, 2001 at the Lee Davis Center Auditorium. The purpose of the meeting is to allow members of the public to learn about the proposed rail transit system for Hillsborough County, and to ask questions and make comments regarding the HART proposed rail project. All members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate.

This meeting is part of the federally required Draft Environmental Impact Statement process and will allow you an opportunity to view exhibits, maps, and plans of the proposed 30-mile rail system from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. A formal presentation will be given at 6 p.m. to explain the details of the plan. Following that, there will be an hour for public comments and questions. A court reporter will be present at the meeting to transcribe the proceedings and record all public comments.
