HART TO HOLD FIRST BUDGET HEARING

SEPTEMBER 2, 1999 - TAMPA, FLORIDA - Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) will hold the first of two scheduled public hearings on the proposed fiscal year 2000 budget on Monday, September 13, at Tampa City Council Chambers. This meeting will be for the purpose of soliciting comments from the public on items in the proposed budget.

HART welcomes public participation and invites interested members of the public to attend, ask questions, and/or comment on budget items, or the budget process. Copies of the proposed budget will be available for distribution to those in attendance. The budget document will also be available accessible formats if requested by September 8th, 1999. The City Hall Council Chambers are wheelchair accessible.

A second and final public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. on September 22, 1999. Written comments on the budget may be made on or before September 21, 1999. Comments may be sent to: Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority, Attn: Budget Public Hearing, 4305 E. 21st Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605.
