Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority Provides Buccaneer Football Shuttle

October 2, 2001 - TAMPA, Fla. � Tired of dealing with the traffic congestion and hassles of finding parking when going to the football game? May we recommend the HART Bucs Football Shuttle. Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) has added Applebee�s Restaurants as a HART Bucs Football Shuttle stop. Beginning Sunday, October 7, 2001 HART is providing shuttle service for Buccaneer fans from three accessible Park and Ride locations and select Applebee�s Restaurants conveniently located in Hillsborough County. Shuttles depart at 3:00 p.m. from the following Park and Ride locations: HART�s University Area Transit Center (UATC) on 27th Street and 131st Avenue in the University/North Tampa area, North Lakeview Drive on North Dale Mabry Hwy. in the Carrollwood/NorthDale area, and J.C. Handley Park on Kings Avenue in the Brandon area.

The Applebee�s Restaurant locations include: Carrollwood at 15090 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. North, 269-7887--departs at 3:05 p.m., University North/Temple Terrace area at 5779 Fowler Avenue, 989-2000--departs at 2:50 p.m., and Brandon at 829 Providence Road, 643-0000--departs at 3:05 p.m. For game day specials, call these participating Applebee�s Restaurants. All HART shuttles will arrive at the stadium 45 minutes prior to the start of each game. The last shuttle returning to each Park and Ride location departs from the stadium 30 minutes after each game ends. Parking is free. The cost to ride the shuttle round trip is $8.00 and one way fare is $5.00. Correct change in cash will be required as no change will be available by HART bus operators.\
