Hooters of Channelside Offers Free Lunchtime
Shuttle Service

December 29, 2003, Tampa, FL – Some say there’s no such thing as a free lunch. But Hooters of Channelside is hoping a “free ride to lunch” will help their business boom.

Starting January 5, 2004, The Hooters Channelside Lunchtime Express will offer free rides from several trolley stops in downtown Tampa, to Channelside. The service will operate weekdays from 11:30am until 2:30pm and run every ten minutes.

The Hooters Express serves three downtown trolley stops before heading directly to Channelside. They are:

Stop #1
The HART Bus Stop at Lykes Park on Kennedy between Franklin and Tampa Street
Stop #2
City Hall Station (on Marion Street @ Jackson Street)
Stop #3
Ft. Brooke Station (on Marion Street @ Whiting)

On your return trip from Channelside the Hooters Channelside Express will provide a convenient drop off on Marion Street at Washington Street Station (near Jackson Street) before heading back to Lykes Park.

This new service is operated by the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority and fully funded by Hooters of Channelside.
