Bikes on Buses
HART makes it easy to ride the
bus and bring along your bicycle with our Bikes on Buses program. By
combining two modes of transportation, people can greatly expand
their range of travel.

Each HART bus accommodates two
bikes. Only single seat, two-wheel bicycles are permitted on buses;
motor powered vehicles are not allowed. If the rack is full, patrons
should be prepared to choose a location to lock up their bike, or
wait for the next bus serving that route.
First-time Bikes on Buses users
are encouraged to receive training and demonstrations at HART bus
terminals in downtown Tampa at Marion Transit Center and HART on
Franklin Street, at the HART operations office in East Tampa at 21st
Avenue, and at HART’s University Area Transit Center in the USF
area.
You can also take your bike
with you and transfer to a PSTA bus without a special permit. Check
out www.psta.net for more info.
