HARTRIDE FARE CARDS
As part of HART's continuing commitment to make your travel by
transit safe, efficient and cost effective, we provide an easy way
to pay your fare.
Unlimited Rides, Unlimited Value
It's called the HARTride Card, and here's how it works. When you purchase an unlimited ride or multi-ride pass, you'll be issued a special HARTride Card with a magnetic strip on the back. Simply insert your HARTride Card into the units attached to the fareboxes on all HART buses. The machine "reads" the magnetic strip and automatically prints the expiration date on the back. It's as easy as that!
Unlimited Possibilities
HARTride Cards are available in the following categories: 1-Day, 3-Day Visitors, 31-Day Unlimited Ride and 20-Ride cards. They can be purchased at all designated HART fare card sales outlets, including the Marion Transit Center, or through our convenient “HARTride Cards-By-Mail” program.
Call the HARTinfo Line at (813) 254-4278, or (813) 626-9158 for TDD to find out more about the HARTride Card.
Farebox Issued Cards
1-Day Unlimited HARTride cards are available for purchase on all HART buses and at HART sales outlets. When purchasing on board the bus, you MUST request the pass BEFORE inserting money into the farebox. The bus operator will key in the appropriate category for farebox issue. The farebox will automatically print the date, card category and expiration date on the back of the card.
Easy to Use
The HARTride Card is easy to use. Just position the card facing you with the arrow pointing downwards and the diagonal cut to the top left. Insert the card straight down and the farebox will return it once the card has been read.
